Description
Sideview of my WIP Steampunk Pearly, which should show how it bustles up and trains out a bit in the back. It is going to take a true wearing to see how the weight of all those buttons makes the skirt move.
Details:
Made the walking skirt according to an old walking skirt pattern, but added the box pleated ruffle at the bottom. Overskirt is just hiked up, I repurposed my old "Fever" steel boned corset that I made and made the leather hat. The blouse was a Ross find that I altered the collar and sleeves on. Oh, yeah, and about 850-900 Mother of Pearl buttons. I may add more in the future, but this was all I could fit into the budget.
I do still have accessories to make, but I'm happy with this bit so far.
